1.1. Quantitative Ability

Evaluates mathematical and analytical problem-solving. Covers number systems, percentages, profit and loss, time and work, ratio and proportion, permutations, probability, and data interpretation.

1.2. Logical Reasoning

Assesses analytical and logical thinking. Topics include coding-decoding, blood relations, series completion, syllogisms, seating arrangements, puzzles, and direction sense.

1.3. English / Verbal Ability

Evaluates grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. Reading comprehension forms a significant portion. Also covers sentence correction, error spotting, para jumbles, synonyms, antonyms, and fill in the blanks.

1.4. Computer Programming

The most technically demanding section. Covers data types, OOP concepts, control structures, arrays, pointers, searching and sorting, data structures, DBMS and CODD fundamentals, SQL, PL/SQL, and OS concepts. Most questions are from C and C++.

2. Group Discussion (Conditional)

Conducted at some campuses and may not be present in all drives. A topic is given to 6-8 candidates for 10-15 minutes. Evaluates communication skills, confidence, teamwork, and the ability to articulate ideas while respecting others.

3. Technical Interview

A one-on-one interview lasting 20-30 minutes covering core CS subjects: Data Structures, SQL and DBMS, Operating Systems, OOP concepts, and C/C++/Java programming. Candidates may write code, explain algorithms, trace outputs, and discuss academic projects in detail.

Interview Panels

Technical Panel: Evaluates core technical knowledge, programming skills, DSA proficiency, and problem-solving ability through concept-based questions and coding tasks.

HR Panel: Assesses communication, personality, cultural fit, career goals, and alignment with NTT Data values.
