2. Communication Assessment
This round evaluates spoken and written English communication skills using an AI-based evaluation system. It includes reading aloud, listening comprehension, grammar assessment, and general verbal ability evaluation. The AI evaluates pronunciation, fluency, grammar accuracy, and comprehension. This is an elimination stage that filters candidates based on communication proficiency.
3. Coding Assessment (PGET Only)
This round is exclusive to the PGET track and consists of 2-3 coding problems to be solved on the Superset/CoCubes platform. Candidates can choose from C, C++, Java, or Python. The difficulty level is easy to medium. The coding assessment tests data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. Candidates who clear this round receive the PGET offer with ₹6.0 LPA. Those who do not clear it but have passed the other rounds are offered the GET role with ₹4.0 LPA.
4. Technical Interview
A one-on-one interview lasting approximately 15-30 minutes covering technical knowledge specific to the candidate's branch and domain. For CS/IT candidates, topics include OOP concepts, DBMS and SQL, data structures, programming language fundamentals, and resume-based project discussions. For ECE/EEE candidates, branch-specific technical questions are asked. Interviewers may also ask questions based on the coding assessment for PGET candidates.
4.1. Interview Panels
Technical Panel: Evaluates core technical knowledge, programming skills, and domain understanding through concept-based questions and live problem-solving tasks.
HR Panel: Assesses communication skills, confidence, cultural fit, career goals, and alignment with Hexaware's values and work culture.
5. HR Interview
The final round assesses communication, confidence, cultural fit, and genuine interest in the company.
Common HR questions include
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your career goals?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Are you willing to relocate and work in shifts?
- What do you know about Hexaware?
- Behavioral and situational questions.
6. Group Discussion (Conditional)
Some campus drives include a Group Discussion round, typically conducted before or after the technical interview. Candidates are given a topic and evaluated on their ability to articulate ideas clearly, listen to others, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate leadership qualities. This round is not present in all drives.
7. Final Selection / Offer
After clearing all rounds, candidates receive a Letter of Intent (LOI) via email. After this:
- A training period of approximately 3-6 months follows, during which trainees receive a stipend.
- Upon successful completion of training, the full CTC is applied.
- Background verification and onboarding happen in phase-wise batches based on business requirements.
